1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how MatJurk collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you access or use the MatJurk software-as-a-service platform, including the dashboard, public catalog pages, order and billing links, reporting tools, support channels, and related services.
MatJurk is designed for businesses that manage shops, products, variants, inventory, branches, warehouses, clients, orders, debts, reports, users, permissions, subscriptions, and related operations. Because those tools can contain business and personal information, we treat privacy and security as core platform requirements.
By using MatJurk, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you use MatJurk on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to provide personal information to MatJurk and to instruct us on how to process that information.
2. Roles and Responsibilities
For most Shop data, the Shop owner or business customer decides what information is collected and why. In those cases, the Shop is generally the controller of its own Customer Data, and MatJurk processes that data to provide the Service.
For account administration, security, billing, platform analytics, support, and service improvement, MatJurk may act as the controller of information needed to operate the platform.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on how MatJurk is used, we may collect or process the following categories of information:
- Account information such as name, email address, phone number, password hash, role, permissions, login status, language preferences, theme preferences, and account settings.
- Shop information such as shop name, contact details, address, branding, catalog settings, subscription status, Plan limits, invoices, billing metadata, and operational preferences.
- User and employee information such as invited users, roles, permissions, profile changes, audit activity, and account status.
- Client and customer information entered by a Shop, such as client names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, ranks, notes, balances, debts, order history, and communication details.
- Product, catalog, and inventory information such as product names, images, variants, colors, sizes, SKUs, barcodes, categories, stock quantities, warehouses, branches, inventory records, and media files.
- Order and transaction workflow information such as order items, prices, discounts, payment status, payment method labels, shipping costs, delivery details, notes, returns, receipts, bills, and public bill links.
- Support and communication information such as messages sent to support, email content, issue details, diagnostics, screenshots, and related correspondence.
- Technical information such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, session information, authentication tokens, logs, error events, performance metrics, usage events, and security signals.
- Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies used for authentication, session management, language, preferences, security, and product functionality.
4. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
- We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for support, security, billing, or a specific feature used by you.
- We do not intentionally collect children's data. MatJurk is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18.
- We do not request full payment card numbers directly inside MatJurk unless a payment provider or approved integration requires it. Payment processing, when used, may be handled by third-party providers under their own terms and policies.

6. Legal Bases Where Applicable
Where privacy laws require a legal basis for processing, we may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, or other lawful bases available under applicable law.
Examples include providing the Service under our Terms, securing accounts, preventing fraud, responding to support requests, meeting billing and accounting obligations, and improving platform reliability.
7. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
MatJurk may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, apply language and theme settings, route tenant sessions, protect accounts, and improve product behavior.
Disabling cookies or browser storage may prevent parts of MatJurk from working correctly, especially authentication, dashboard access, and saved preferences.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal data. We may share or disclose information only in limited circumstances, including:
- With service providers that help us host, secure, store, transmit, analyze, support, or operate MatJurk.
- With payment, billing, infrastructure, storage, communication, email, logging, analytics, or security providers where needed for platform operation.

9. Public Links and Shared Content
Some MatJurk features may generate public or shareable links, such as catalog pages, QR catalog links, order bills, receipts, or WhatsApp message links. Anyone with access to a public link may be able to view the information available through that link.
Shop owners and users are responsible for deciding what to publish, what to share, and with whom. Avoid sharing sensitive personal, financial, or business information through public links unless it is intended for the recipient.

11. Security Limitations
No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using strong passwords, protecting devices, limiting user permissions, removing inactive users, avoiding credential sharing, reviewing account activity, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
12. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide MatJurk, maintain accounts, support Shops, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, preserve security, maintain backups, and operate the Service.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of data, Plan status, legal requirements, backup cycles, account activity, support needs, and operational requirements.
After cancellation, deletion request, termination, or inactivity, data may be deleted, anonymized, archived, or restricted after a reasonable retention period unless we are legally or operationally required to keep it longer.
13. Data Location and International Transfers
MatJurk may process and store information through cloud infrastructure and service providers located in different countries or regions. Those locations may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you or your customers are located.

If your request relates to data controlled by a Shop, such as a client record, order, debt balance, or business record, we may direct you to the relevant Shop owner or process the request according to that Shop's instructions.
16. Shop Owner Responsibilities
Shop owners are responsible for complying with privacy, consumer, employment, tax, recordkeeping, communication, and data protection laws that apply to their own business.
This includes providing any notices required to their customers, employees, suppliers, or users; obtaining required permissions or consents; configuring appropriate access controls; and responding to data requests relating to their own Customer Data.
